Our Christian Values - Curiosity, Compassion, Courage & Commitment - underpin all that we do in both schools.
We follow the National Curriculum and through the embodiment of our values, children develop the necessary knowledge and skills and experience a wide range of inspirational opportunities through our broad and enriched school and outdoor curriculum. Our curriculum and values develop children's character, encourage good mental health and enable them to live life in 'all its fullness' now and in the future.
Our staff constantly review and improve our Curriculum Matrix and we use a Google 'mini-site' to capture learning. Parents are able to access this and understand the progressive knowledge and skills that their children are learning for that term; this is key to building the school-parental partnership, leading to successful learning.
The National Curriculum framework and programmes of study for the subjects can be viewed here.
Personal Development
Our Curriculum offer goes far beyond the expectations of the National Curriculum. We are committed to ensuring that every single one of our children benefits from the vast range of opportunities that we provide, to support their ongoing 'Personal Development'. Our 'Personal Development Plan' illustrates the unique range of broad, balanced and challenging opportunities that our children will experience during their time at school, from outdoor learning to extra-curricular opportunities and British Values to personal student leadership. Please see our 'Personal Development Plan' below.
