Year R had their last Forest School session today for this year. We were blessed with some lovely warm sunshine which meant we could do some more 'static' activities rather than having to keep moving all the time. Goldcrest lead the day and the children had fun making music, playing in hammocks and making bird feeders.
Have a look at the class gallery for more lovely photos taken by Daffodil.
This term year 6 will be looking at the Woodland Trust Charter for Trees, Woods and People. They will be encouraged each week to participate in activities linked with the charter.
This week they were encourage to help build up the deadwood hedge - to help maintain an obvious boundary for our younger children; to prevent them wandering too far away, and to help reduce the number of visiting dogs off the footpath!
