Engaging with and supporting parents to help them support their child's learning at home is important to us. There has been much research into the importance of parents' aspirations for their children and their positive support of their child's learning really does improve children's life chances. To help parents support their child we organise a number of events throughout the year to keep you up to date with your child's achievement including Parents' Evenings and Open Afternoons. We also organise Parent Forums to tell you about school plans and activities that are part of our continuous improvement and parent training sessions to help parents understand how we teach skills such as maths operations, phonics or English skills.
Each Class Page has a section on how you can help your child at home with specific learning related to the curriculum for their year.
