Stone Age Day

Submitted by class3 on Friday, October 6, 2017 - 16:22

Today Leopards class had a visit from Mr Victrix who taught us all about the Stone Age! We learnt about how the first hunter-gatherers lived, and how the invention of farming lead to Neolithic times. We enjoyed learning about different Stone Age weapons, and even tried our hands at group deer hunting (not a real deer, but a willing volunteer wearing antlers!).

In the afternoon we did a variety of Art and Craft activities, but also had the opportunity to hunt our own woolly mammoth using javelins! We've had a great day and learnt a lot!
