High Fives Netball

Submitted by sporto on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 - 10:39

On Tuesday 19th March a team our our year six pupils took part in the Kent School Games High Fives Netball festival. High Fives is a five a side game where the players rotate positions in the middle and at the beginning of every game. This involves understanding the role of each position and also a lot of bib changing!

The children played extremely well, winning all their games except won which they lost to the ultimate champions, Staplehurst. We finished the event in Silver Medal position.

Thank you to Miss Wilkins for preparing the team and to Caroline and Sarah for running the team at the event. I was unable to attend until later but arrived to see the final 2 games which were played with great spirit and determination.

Congratulations to Oscar, William, Poppy, Evie, Fifi, Gemma and Naomi. A special mention must go to Oscar for continuing to play with blood cascading down his knees!
